Returns Policy for Hot Devil in New Zealand

When you purchase a Hot Devil product, we want to make your experience with our product the best experience possible.  This starts with choosing the right tool for the jobs you need to do, so if you’re not sure which product to choose, feel free to Contact Us.

After purchasing your Hot Devil product, be sure to read the instructions on the packaging and on the item itself, to use the product correctly.  Again if you’re not sure about how to use it correctly, feel free to Contact Us.

If something goes wrong with your product, contact your point of purchase in the first instance.  If you’re unable to do so or feel you need further assistance, contact us and we’ll do whatever we can to help.  Please read the terms and conditions below that explain your warranty rights.  We love to improve so if you’re not happy, please give us your feedback.

The Company will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange, refund or repair where:

  • The product is faulty within 12 months of purchase or is not of acceptable quality, or
  • The product is not fit for its intended purpose, or
  • The product is unsafe, and
  • You can present your receipt, online tax invoice or other adequate proof of purchase.
  • This warranty applies for 12 months from date of purchase and valid proof of purchase must be provided when making a claim or return.

The Company may elect to return the product to the manufacturer to determine the nature of the problem. The Company reserves the right to assess the age and condition of returned goods and the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair goods. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality* and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

*Products must be of acceptable quality, that is:

  • Fit for their normal purposes
  • Acceptable in finish and appearance
  • Free from minor defects
  • Safe
  • Durable

Acceptable quality takes into account what would normally be expected for the type of product and cost.

Even though great care is taken in the shipping process, if your item/s arrives damaged, please contact orders@eproducts.co.nz so that the company can arrange to assess the damage and to work out a solution.  You may be requested to provide of photograph of your item/s and /or delivery package to aid a speedy resolution.
